Who We Are

Hi, I’m Amanda.

My background spans nonprofit development, fundraising operations, project management, and community-centered leadership, with experience helping mission-driven organizations strengthen systems, build donor relationships, and navigate sustainable growth.

As the founder of The Wobbly Ranch, a 501©3 nonprofit animal sanctuary, I experienced firsthand both the passion and the pressure that come with building and sustaining a small nonprofit organization. I understand how quickly small teams can become overwhelmed when fundraising, operations, communications, and day-to-day responsibilities all compete for limited time and capacity.

That experience became a driving force behind Surefoot.

I created Surefoot to provide the kind of grounded, practical support many growing nonprofits need but often struggle to access thoughtful fundraising guidance designed to create stronger systems, clearer priorities, and more sustainable growth.

Over the course of my career, I have helped support fundraising efforts that have contributed to raising more than $15 million for nonprofit organizations through donor stewardship, development operations, campaign support, events, and strategic coordination.

My approach combines fundraising strategy with operational thinking, helping organizations build systems that are not only effective, but manageable and sustainable for the teams behind them.
